This course will provide an overview of the high voltage excitation system applications, primarily focusing on the firing angle of excitation systems. This course covers core concepts High Voltage generator excitation systems, including excitation system components and automatic voltage regulator. The training methodology is theory and group discussion, where the participants will be actively involved in the class activities Course participants will be able to analyze case studies and best maintenance practices specifically for large power station generators At the end of the course, participants will be introduced to risk related activities involved in the processes and its impact in cost and performance.
